Top five places on my travel bucket list (merica’ edition )

Traveling is something that pretty much everyone wants to do at one point in their life. With so many places in the world the choices are overwhelming! I think that before you travel the world you should visit some places right at home! Since I’m from the United states I wanted to feature some places that are right in my country. And if you’re from somewhere else in the world I welcome you to come on over and visit these places for yourself!

5. Grand Canyon

The grand Canyon is somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit since I was a kid. This beautiful landmark located in Arizona is bound to be on anyone’s bucket list(imagine the footage you could get with a drone, ugh). With the Colorado River running right through it, I’m sure it’s an amazing sight to see!

Yellowstone National Park is one place that is both beautiful and terrifying. Located in Wyoming, this is probably one of the most intriguing places I’ve heard of. There is a super volcano located there, that if erupted, would have an ash fall that reaches all the way to Florida! People closest to Wyoming would be affected horribly, and that would cause a massive tragic disaster. But don’t worry we have a good 10,000 years before that happens, hallelujah!

Surprisingly, this is one destination that I don’t hear many people talking about. Mammoth Cave is the longest known cave system in the world! It’s cool that a little place like Kentucky holds such a record. Also I’ve heard Kentucky has great food, so I’m basically killing two birds with one stone!

Is it just me or should they have called this place worm lakes? It doesn’t really resemble fingers to me from this angle, but non the less it still looks stunning! Finger lakes is a group of 11 north-south finger like lakes. Located in central new York, this lake is definitely a show stopper! It’s a beautiful almost as if Picasso had a giant paint brush and went to town!

1.Hawai’i volcanoes national park

Ugh, just pause and look at that picture and tell me you wouldn’t want to see that! I mean the lava flowing over the rocks is truly an example of the beauty of nature. Not only can you see active volcanoes at Hawai’i  but you can also go camping which I think is really neat. Another thing I love about this place is that they protect the native endangered wildlife and plants from anything harmful. A fun fact about this national park is that so much lava flows yearly that 500 acres of land has been formed since 1983!

So these were the top five places on my travel bucket list! I do hope one day I am able to visit these places and tell you guys about my experience. Let me know in the comments your top 5 places you wanna visit!

Thanks for reading xoxo

  1. Eboni, I love this!! I’m a traveler myself but I’ve traveled outside the U.S. more. I definitely need to pay more attention to all the landmarks in the U.S., I do live here after all. In terms of my top 5 landmarks…I don’t know if I could choose just 5! haha I want to see the world! But Australia is at the top of my list right now 🙂
